Timashion & Taivia Jones
Timashion and Taivia Jones hold several degrees, including specialization in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. They apply their 30+ years of corporate experience and 18 years of marriage to the engineering of healthy marriages across the nation.
In their state-of-the-art marriage curriculum, they not only offer couples methods for problem-solving, but also wisdom and guidance for preventing potential problems in the future. In addition to team building and conflict resolution, Timashion and Taivia use the principles of waste elimination and preventive maintenance to help couples graduate from just surviving to thriving in their marriages. Through a five-step organizational structure, regularly scheduled marital ‘oil changes’ and unique methods for continuous improvement, they encourage couples that they can truly become one—fulfilling God’s original purpose and plan.
While many marry the first person they think they can live with, Timashion and Taivia Jones married the one person they couldn’t live without—each other For these high school sweethearts, marriage is much more than a white dress, a tuxedo and rose petals on a white carpet. It’s a life-long promise. It’s a great calling. It is ministry.
Working together in ministry for over 15 years, they are committed to devoting their time and talents—and their marriage—to the edification of the Kingdom of God, realizing that their first priority for ministry starts at home.
But long before they said, “I do!”, they were partners in ministry.
Not only did they serve as leaders of the singles ministry and dance ministry at their former church, Family Victory Fellowship, in Southfield, Michigan, but they also oversaw the youth ministry for more than two and a half years.
They were both members of the Christian rap group, God’s Army, where they traveled around the world to minister the gospel in a culturally relevant style of evangelism.
While no marriage is without its share of problems, Timashion and Taivia are committed to helping families identify the root of their problems, work to resolve them and live the life that God originally intended for marriage—happily ever after.
They are currently the Marriage Fellowship Coordinators at their home church, Evangel Ministries, in Detroit, Michigan. They also serve with the dance and youth ministries.
They have two incredibly talented and Kingdom minded children: Yoshua, and Selah.
